NovaMind developed the leading Mind Mapping software for Mac OS X. It’s a highly visual application that leverages Mac OS X’s vector drawing technologies. I was the principal Cocoa developer and my responsibilities in this role extended to all areas of creating NovaMind for Mac OS X, including feature specification, design, implementation, defect resolution, performance optimization, packaging and deployment. This position gave me experience in all areas of creating consumer applications for Mac OS X. Future directions for NovaMind exposed me to technologies outside of Cocoa and I worked with Ruby on Rails building hybrid desktop / web applications.
